As you sit down against the wall, your back needs to be flat, and your upper legs should be in a horizontal position. Continue bending your knees so that your thighs become parallel to the floor and you find yourself in a crouched position, just off the floor. You will want to stay like this for as much time as you can.
Always check your shoes when you go out to exercise and ensure that they are ideal for the conditions. When you are not wearing the proper footwear you can injure your back, legs, and feet. Even without more serious complications, wearing the wrong footwear makes your exercises uncomfortable and makes it harder for you to stick with them.
