For Healthy, Lustrous Hair Use These Amazing Tips

Our hair is our ‘crowning glory’. We all dream about having shiny, soft, healthy hair; however, most of us are struggling with flat, dull, brittle, greasy hair. Use the advice shared here to get the healthy head of hair you have always wanted.

Avoid damaging your hair by brushing it only when it is dry. Wet hair is more easily damaged than dry hair. Always brush your hair when it is dry, in order to avoid damaging your hair.

Don’t use too many appliances on your hair so that it can become stronger and be restored. Some appliances, especially curling irons and blow dryers, can do a number on your hair, which makes controlling frizz and repairing damage a real pain. Don’t go crazy with the heat. Let your hair rest every so often.

Look at your diet if your hair is not looking that great. Keep your body fueled with vitamin E, iron and omega-3 acids, as they are all essential to keeping your body and hair healthy. If you follow a certain dietary plan that does not contain the nutrients you need, talk to your doctor about supplements for hair health.

If you feel that your hair is looking rather dry, here is an at-home conditioning treatment for you to try. Once you are finished washing your hair and have gotten out a bit of the wetness, use a conditioner then a shower cap. The extra heat created by the cap allows the conditioner to penetrate further into your hair follicles.

Be sure to always be gentle with your hair when you use a towel to dry it. Rubbing and tugging causes your hair to split and become frizzy. Instead, blot, pat or squeeze any excess moisture out of your hair. It is also advisable to not brush or comb your hair when it’s still wet.

As you can now see, healthy hair isn’t as hard to achieve as you may have thought. Add these tips into your hairdressing routine, and watch as your hair becomes shinier and healthier. It is up to you; with some diligence and care, you will have hair that you only dreamed of.
